Before you start
- One authorised decision-maker
- The complete current review link or design batch
- A list collected from everyone who must approve
Keep passwords, one-time codes, card details and sensitive customer records out of your brief. Send access invitations through the platform itself.
Follow the steps
Step 1
Review the whole batch before replying. Identify the page or design by name and describe the exact change.
Step 2
Separate factual corrections from preferences. Include replacement wording, approved prices or the image to use.
Step 3
Use screenshots to point to a layout issue, but hide personal and customer details first.
Step 4
Send one numbered list by email or one consolidated WhatsApp message. Tell us when the list is complete.
Step 5
At final review, test links, forms, spelling, mobile layout, contact details and key calls to action.
Step 6
Send explicit written approval. We confirm launch or delivery; do not assume silence counts as approval.
How to know it worked
We have a final written approval from the nominated person, and any separate launch requirements have been met.
If you get stuck
- Stakeholders disagree? Resolve it internally before sending the list.
- A new direction after approval? Ask for a revised quote and timing.
- Found a functional problem? Provide the URL, device and steps to reproduce it.
Email sai@mourningmedia.com with your client reference, the step you reached and the exact error. A cropped screenshot helps; hide personal information and payment details first. We reply in writing.
