Before you start
- Exact business name and any tagline
- Audience, competitors and the impression you want to create
- Existing logos and three useful style references
Keep passwords, one-time codes, card details and sensitive customer records out of your brief. Send access invitations through the platform itself.
Follow the steps
Step 1
Describe your business offer, audience and differentiation in the intake. Confirm the spelling and tagline before concept work.
Step 2
Explain the personality you want: restrained, expressive, premium, approachable or another specific direction. List symbols or colours to avoid.
Step 3
Describe where the logo will be used, such as social avatars, signage, print or website headers. Flag unusual production requirements.
Step 4
Review the R2,500 upfront scope: two initial directions, refinement of one direction and two revision rounds. Trademark clearance is separate.
Step 5
Supply licensed assets and agree one approver. We confirm readiness and a production schedule.
Step 6
Choose a direction, consolidate revisions and approve the final suite. Keep original deliverables and the brand reference sheet together.
How to know it worked
We send a readiness confirmation after reviewing your brief, payment, assets and required access. A receipt alone is not a production start date.
If you get stuck
- Missing materials? List the gaps honestly in your intake; do not upload placeholders as final files.
- Scope does not fit? Ask by WhatsApp or email before payment.
- Need a change after saving? Use Edit my details on the review screen before checkout.
Email sai@mourningmedia.com with your client reference, the step you reached and the exact error. A cropped screenshot helps; hide personal information and payment details first. We reply in writing.
